SPRING / SUMMER COLLECTION 2018

Our Spring/Summer 2018 collection celebrates the fluttering spirit of the
Hummingbird, or Picaflor in Spanish.

Inspired by the majesty of the hummingbird’s patterns, of continuity and infinity of its wings movements and shapes.

The Picaflor collection showcases a subtle combination of colours, textures and details, evoking a seductive and striking yet natural look.

The Picaflor Collection features the richness on the Toquilla straws that our Colombian artisan community weaves as an embodiment of their Culture.

The straws are carefully hand-dyed as inspired by the boundless spectrum of colours of the Picaflor’s plumage, thereby enhancing the display value of the hat.

Natalia Baquero pieces are designed and finished at our Atelier in Montreal, Canada. We are proud of our liaison with skilled local and international craftspeople.

Our mission is to revitalize the unique art of millinery by strengthening the appreciation for handmade and socially responsible pieces.
